Silhouette Photography is an interesting genre that uses light and shadow to produce stunning photos. You can add drama, interest, and mood to your pictures by photographing a subject's outline against a bright background.

- Find a Strong Subject : Look for subjects with recognizable shapes and interesting outlines, like tree, people, animals and surrounding objects.
- Contrast is the key : There must be a dramatic contrast between your subject and the background in order to create an eye-catching silhouette. To get a high contrast, place your subject in front of a bright light source, such as the sun or a highly illuminated sky.
