- Take a black reflective thing like fibar glass and place it on a table.
- Place your burning diya on the reflective surface.
- Spray some water on the reflective surface in front of diya.
- Now click the picture by placing your phone upside down and focusing on the burning diya.
- Use manual settings, keep the ISO low and use manual focus for better results.
Capturing sparkles

- Take sparkle in your hand.
- Focus on the sparkle, lock the exposure and decrease it's value and click.

- Stand on a higher place, incase you want plain black background otherwise you can stand anywhere.
- Light up the lantern and hold above your face.
- Keep it away from your face for safety reasons.
- Focus on your subject lock the exposure and decrease it.
- Click from a low angle to get plain black background, if you didn't have any issue with the background than click normally as your desired frame.
