I purchased this device on October 26, 2024. While familiarizing myself with the user interface, I discovered that it does not appear to support Jio 5G.  Despite troubleshooting efforts, I have been unable to resolve this issue.

Curiously, when I use a Jio SIM already activated for 5G in the device, the network indicator displays 5G, and speed tests confirm 5G speeds.  However, the MyJio app's handset compatibility check still fails.
  •     Moral of the story
If the Jio SIM is only 4G, then activating 5G on this device appears impossible. Jio customer care indicated that because it's a non-Indian product, 5G service won't be supported, recommending activation on a compatible device first.  This process is further complicated by having already switched to an eSIM.
  •     Way forward
Thinking of returning the device.

Honor 200 has Virtual Proximity Sensor

This device, despite its hefty price tag of ₹39,999 (MRP) and a selling price around ₹24,999, lacks a dedicated physical proximity sensor.
Instead, it mimics this functionality using light and other sensors, a cost-cutting tactic employed by other brands as well. While cost optimization is understandable, it becomes deceptive when quality is compromised.

Company like Samsung manage to maintain quality and way better service even with cost considerations.
Honor, however, seems to prioritize marketing over providing value to customers who trust them enough to purchase their products.

It's ironic that even in today's information-rich environment, where consumers have access to detailed product information, marketing still manages to prevail, often at the expense of true value and customer satisfaction.
