Today, we'll dive into the next thread of our series: a detailed overview of the design that showcases its aesthetics, the build that radiates a premium feel, and the display that not only enhances your media consumption but also cares for your eyes. So, without further ado, let's dive!
The HONOR 200 Pro features an elegant design inspired by nature. The natural coastline design highlights both aesthetics and a premium feel, seamlessly blending beauty with high-quality craftsmanship. I have the Ocean Cyan color, and as a long-time black lover, I was pleasantly surprised by how captivating it is. The classic black option is always nice, but the Ocean Cyan is really stunning. The artistic camera module on the back, inspired by the form of Gaudi's "Casa Mila" is like icing on the cake!Let's Start with the Design
The HONOR 200 Pro features a premium glass back with a wave-shaped design, combining glossy and matte finishes. Both the front and back edges are curved, offering a comfortable grip. Weighing only 199g and measuring 8.2mm thick, the phone feels well-balanced and extremely premium in hand.Build
The front boasts a 6.78-inch Quad-Curved Floating Display with a pill-shaped dual punch hole, adding to the device's premium look.
At the bottom, we find a Speaker Grill, USB Type-C port, Primary Microphone, and SIM tray. The top houses a second Speaker Grill, an IR Blaster, and a secondary Noise-Cancellation Microphone. On the right side, there are tactile volume rockers and a power button on the plastic frame, while the left side remains clean and simple.

HONOR not only offers a premium quality display but also prioritizes eye safety and comfort with a range of hardware and software-level features.Display
According to the specs sheet, the device boasts a 6.78-inch Quad-Curved Floating display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution, made with aluminosilicate glass for extra protection and durability. With 1.07 billion colors, a 437 PPI density, and a Delta E value of approximately equal to only 0.27 (indicating higher color accuracy with lower values), it delivers stunning, true-to-life colors.
In real life, the display is truly mesmerizing! The colors are highly accurate and true to life, with incredibly crisp output. I've experienced other devices in this segment, and they often lean a bit cooler or warmer, but the HONOR 200 Pro's display is perfectly balanced, offering a soothing and premium experience for the eyes. HONOR has done an excellent job with its display technology, as they always do. Outdoor visibility is also great as have 4000nits of HDR Peak Brightness.

Now, let's explore the eye safety features that HONOR has integrated at both the hardware and software levels to ensure our eyes are well cared for.
- 3840Hz Risk-free PWM Dimming Display: PWM (Pulse-width modulation) dimming is a technology used for brightness control, specifically to reduce flickering even at low brightness levels by regulating the flow of current. This tech rapidly turns the screen's pixels on and off at a very high frequency, making it appear as a steady light to the human eye. The higher the frequency, the better and more comfortable the display is for our eyes. With 3840Hz extremely high-frequency PWM dimming, the HONOR 200 Pro's display is flicker-free in dim light, making it exceptionally safe and comfortable for your eyes.
- The hardware-level low-blue light display: This helps to filter harmful blue light from the screen on the hardware level and hence protects our eye health.
- AI Circadian Night Display: Have you ever noticed that your sleep cycle is being negatively affected by excessive use of your smartphone and laptop display? Many factors influence our circadian cycle (the 24-hour cycle of physical, mental, and behavioral changes), with light being one of the most significant. Our brain produces melatonin, a hormone that regulates our sleep and circadian cycle. Prolonged exposure to the blue light emitted by screens can block melatonin production and disrupt our sleep. The HONOR 200 Pro's Circadian Night Display helps counteract this by automatically adjusting the screen's color and temperature to align with melatonin secretion patterns. This adjustment helps synchronize with our body’s natural rhythm, promoting better sleep. Isn’t that amazing?
- Natural Tone 2.0: Natural Tone 2.0 intelligently detects changes in environmental color temperature, adjusting the screen's color temperature more flexibly and sensitively.
- Dynamic Dimming Display: This feature smartly adjusts screen brightness to ease eye strain and improve eye health. It mimics natural light changes to help improve blood flow in the eyes and reduce eye strain with its smart light-changing technology.
- Dual Sensor Adaptive Dimming: Dual sensors for environmental light detect the surrounding brightness more accurately.
- Eye comfort mode which takes the display to the yellow side to filter blue light on the software level too.
- And an eBook mode which forces the display colour to black and white mode for a better and soothing reading experience
