I did a battery drain test on the HONOR 200 Pro, with heavy uses like watching YouTube video, gaming, social media, web surfing.Battery Drain test
Note: the below sot is recorded from 58%, in Honor device sot restart after midnight. I full charged my phone watched YouTube video for 1 hour, scroll social media for 1 hour and played BGMI for 1 hour with Hotspot on for 8 to 10 minutes, battery drop to 40%.
I wake up late in the morning, didn't go for a walk because it was raining. The battery was on 58% when i started testing again.
Sot data recorded from 58% and left with 4% battery with a sot of 5 hour 8 minutes, below are the test i performed.
- Streaming (YouTube): 1 hour 35 minutes, battery drop 14%
- Gaming (BGMI): 1 hours 18 minutes battery drop 16%
- Social Media (Instagram, Twitter): 1 hour 15 minutes, battery drop 15%
- Web Browsing: 1 hours, battery drop 9%
Combining it with the night time uses 3 hour 10 minutes, i got a total sot of 8 hour 18 minutes.
After 8 hour 18 minutes of heavy use, the HONOR 200 Pro still had 4% battery life, which is excellent considering the intense activities.
I didn't experience any heating issue.
One experience i want to share: with my old phone whenever i stop using the phone i put it on charging. The day when i setup the Honor 200 Pro and used it for almost two hour and when i stopped using it, i plugged the device in charging without seeing the battery %, when the charging logo popup i was surprised by seeing a battery drop of only 16%
In daily use, the HONOR 200 Pro gives amazing results. My daily routine involves checking emails, using social media, listen to music, take photos and videos and watch YouTube videos.Daily Usage and Battery Life
On a typical day, here’s how the battery performs:
- Morning (4 AM - 12PM): i go for a morning walk listing to music on Spotify using my bluetooth neckband, in between I use the phone to click pictures and videos for my social media. Returning home i scroll social media check my emails & edit some photos. I usually see a battery drop of around 25-30%.
- Afternoon (12 PM - 6 PM): The battery drops another 25-30% as I continue watching YouTube videos, takes online class and edit videos and do some photography.
- Evening (6 PM - 11 PM): By the end of the day, with some light usage, the battery drops around 20-25%.
