Today i received the much awaited Honor 200 Pro, The latest addition to the Honor lineup in India. In this unboxing, i'll walk you through my unboxing experience, initial device setup, and my first impressions.

Unboxing the Honor 200 Pro

As soon as you get your hands on the Honor 200 Pro box, you'll notice its sleek and minimalistic design. The front, left & right side showcases the Honor 200 Pro logo with a glossy finish.

When you open the box, the first thing you see is the smartphone, which is nicely wrapped in protective plastic.




You will find the following beneath the device:

• A USB-C charging cable
• A SIM ejector tool
• A clear protective case
• User manuals and warranty card

Device Overview

The Honor 200 Pro feels premium in hand with its glass back and metal frame. The device is lightweight, yet sturdy.






The front has a beautiful edge-to-edge quad curve display and a small pill shape camera cutout.

Setting Up the Honor 200 Pro

To turn on the device, press and hold the power button on the right. The Honor logo will be displayed first, followed by the Magic OS logo and setup wizard.

• Select your preferred language and region.
• Connect to a Wi-Fi network to proceed with updates and cloud services.
• Sign in with your Google account to sync your contacts, apps, and other settings.

Biometric Setup

• The Honor 200 Pro supports both facial recognition and fingerprint scanning. To enable these security features, follow the on-screen instructions.
• The fingerprint sensor, located under the display, is quick and responsive.

Personalization

• Customize your home screen with widgets and apps.

• Explore the settings menu to adjust the display brightness, theme, and notification settings.

• Install any essential apps from the Google Play Store.

First Impressions

Display and Design

• The Honor 200 Pro's display is vibrant and sharp, making it perfect for media consumption and gaming.

• The build quality is excellent, and the phone feels solid without being bulky.

Performance

• The Honor 200 Pro easily handles multitasking because of its powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and 16Gb RAM. Apps open quickly, and navigating the interface is smooth.

Camera

• The camera module has triple lenses with a flash, a 50MP wide-angle, 12Mp ultra-wide angle and 50MP telephoto with 2.5x optical zoom that goes upto 50x digital. Initial testing show amazing results, including brilliant colors and excellent detail.

Battery Life & charging speed

The battery life seems impressive so far, with 5200mAh 2nd Gen Silicon-carbon battery. Device supports 100w wired fast-charging and 66w wireless.
