Amazon Agreed To Purchase Certain Assets From MX Player For $100 Million.
According to an Amazon report on Wednesday, Amazon has expressed hope to buy some important assets from video streaming platform MX Player from Times Internet. The first mention of this deal appeared in the year 2023. That's when the e-commerce giant began talks with the Tencent-backed firm. But at that time this thing had failed. But once again talks took place between the two parties and this time a deal has been finalized between the two parties for less than $100 million. He also told that he is going to buy only some of their properties. But they are not going to buy this video streaming platform completely.
WhatsApp Business Reveal AI Chatbot And Meta Verified Badge.
WhatsApp has reportedly said that it has started rolling out Verified Badges to its users along with AI chat bot for WhatsApp Business customers. It is being started first of all in India. WhatsApp Business users are getting many new features. That also includes Artificial Intelligence (AI) upgrades that will help business owners intelligently automate some of their communications on the platform. The social media giant announced a new AI-powered chatbot for WhatsApp Business during an event in Sao Paulo. Also launched Meta Verified Badge for WhatsApp Business users. India is one of the first markets to get these features. Additionally, the company is also testing call functionality for business accounts.
Spotify Playlists Temporarily Disappear.
The Spotify app is used every day by millions of people around the world. This app is one of the most famous apps for music streaming. Spotify has recently faced a problem. In which the user had complained that his playlist was not visible to him. Whereas users could play music by searching or from the home tab without any problem. But due to some glitch, the playlist created by the user became invisible or it seemed as if it had disappeared. Several Spotify users complained about the issue to the company on Twitter (x) around 3 p.m. And even after the user complained to them, Spotify did not say anything about this issue. i Phone 15 Users Will Now Get 5 Years Of Software Support.
Apple company has confirmed that now the users of iPhone 15 will get less software support for 5 years than Samsung and Google. Google and Samsung announced Android updates to 7 generations for Pixel 8 and Samsung S 24 Ultra. Usually Apple never tells how many updates the Apple phones are going to get. But it is known to provide long term software support for its phones. Thanks to a new regulation in the UK, Apple has finally specified a minimum support window for its iPhone 15 family and it's less than what Google and Samsung now offer. iPhone 15 Pro users will also get this update with software support of up to 5 years.
