Hello Honor Fans!
How are you all doing?

If you want to backup your photos and videos to Google Photos, or you're wondering how to make a backup of your whole Google photos library, this is the guide for you. Based on our own research and experience using Google photos.
  • To Back Up Photos to Google Photos:
Backing up your photos to and from Google Photos is a convenient way to ensure your precious memories are safely stored and easily accessible across devices.

Here's how you can do it:

Install Google Photos App: If you haven't already, download and install the Google Photos app from the App Store (for iOS devices) or the Google Play Store (for Android devices).
Sign In: Open the Google Photos app and sign in with your Google account credentials. If you don't have a Google account, you'll need to create one.
How to Sign in to Google Photos App?
To sign in to your Google Photos app, you need to make sure that you have the Google Photos app downloaded on your device. Update the Google Photos app if you already have the app installed on your smartphone.
Step 1: Open the Google Photos app on your Phone.
Step 2: You will be able to view the photos in your gallery in the app.
Step 3: Click a picture of you or anything around on your Camera app.
Step 4: Go to the Backup Google Photos and find if the picture you have taken is seen there.
Step 5: Start using the Google Photos app by editing and sharing pictures.
Step 6: You can delete pictures if they are not necessary.

Enable Backup & Sync:
Android: Tap on the three horizontal lines (menu) in the top left corner, then select "Settings" > "Backup & sync." Toggle the switch to enable backup and sync. You can choose to back up photos and videos over Wi-Fi or using your mobile data.
Select Backup Options: You can choose whether to back up photos and videos in high quality (free unlimited storage) or original quality (uses Google Drive storage). High quality is recommended for most users as it provides unlimited storage without using your Google Drive quota.
Wait for Backup: Once backup and sync are enabled, Google Photos will automatically start uploading your photos and videos to the cloud. The time it takes will depend on the number and size of your files and your internet connection speed.
To Retrieve Photos from Google Photos:
Open Google Photos App: Launch the Google Photos app on your device.
Sign In: If you're not already signed in, sign in with the same Google account you used to back up your photos.
View Photos: You can view your backed-up photos and videos by navigating through the app's interface. Photos will be organized by date and location, making it easy to find what you're looking for.
Download Photos: To download photos from Google Photos to your device, simply select the photo(s) you want to download, then tap the download icon (usually a downward-facing arrow).
Choose Quality: When downloading photos, you may have the option to choose between downloading in original quality or compressed high quality. Select your preferred option and wait for the download to complete.

By following these steps, you can easily back up your photos to Google Photos and access them from any device with an internet connection. Remember to periodically check your storage usage in Google Photos and manage your backups to ensure you don't exceed your storage quota.
