I hope you all are doing well and must be taking care of yourself and your loved ones.

We all are aware of the eXtra Durable display of HONOR X9b which is highly capable of tolerating your accidental drops. But did you know that at the same time, it's highly capable of protecting your eyes and hence health too? Its 5-fold Eye Protection is all-round Care For Your Eyes. When it comes to eye safety then these things become extremely important, but no other brand is even trying to work on this.
Today I am going to discuss both the extra durability and the eye safety feature of this device display. Just be with me to know things in detail so you can take benefit of it.

Why and How HONOR X9b's Display is eXtra Durable?

We have to understand the tech behind its extra durable display to get the answer to this question. So let's dive into the tech.
HONOR X9b's display has three layers of ultra protection tech which not only protects the screen but also the frame and internal compartments. Hence gives this device 360° Anti-Drop Protection. Those three protection layers are:

• Single Point Reinforcement Protection
• Wraparound Cushioning - As the name says, a brand-new HONOR cushioning material with micron-sized pores that can absorb up to 1.2 times the impact of a drop. Means a cushion from the inside.
• Deep Seal Protection

Hence the combination of all three layers makes the HONOR X9b extra durable and also 1st in the industry to get Five-star overall drop resistance certification from Switzerland's SGS.

How HONOR X9b's display is an all-round care for our eyes?

This tech-driven World is a boon for us in many ways, but there are many health impacts due to these tech products about many of us are either unaware or ignoring this. One of the highly exposed daily life gadgets is the smartphone screen and the harmful blue light that it emits. And this is the reason for the number of health issues like sleep disturbances, headaches, etc...
It's great that HONOR is not only with X9b but with every HONOR device focusing and working on this very important aspect. Hoping that other brands will also start working on this to minimize the impacts on our eyes and hence health.

Now let's discuss the HONOR's 5-fold eye protection that's an all-round care for our eyes:

1. 1920Hz High-frequency PWM Dimming: PWM (Pulse-width modulation) dimming is something related to brightness control. It is a tech that is used to control the flickering even with low brightness levels by controlling the flow of current. This tech rapidly turned the screen's pixels on and off at a very high frequency so that it visually appears as a steady light. This means that the higher the frequency, more better the display and hence more better & comfortable for our eyes. With 1920Hz High-frequency PWM Dimming, HONOR X9b is flicker-free in dim light and highly safe and comfortable for your eyes.
2. Dynamic Dimming: This feature of HONOR X9b smartly adjusts screen brightness to ease eye strain and improve eye health. It relieves eye fatigue by simulating the dynamic changes in natural light.
3. The Circadian Night Display: Many factors affect the circadian cycle (physical, mental, and behavioral changes that follow a 24-hour cycle) of our body, and light is one of the most important factors of all. Our brain produces the hormone "Melatonin" which is responsible for the circadian cycle and our sleep. Long exposure to this blue light emitted by smartphone screens, can block melatonin production and hence disturb our sleep cycle at night. The Circadian Night Display of HONOR X9b automatically adjusts screen colour and temperature to match the melatonin secretion patterns and hence match our body rhythm/cycle to help prepare for a better night's sleep. Isn't it amazing?
4. The hardware-level low-blue light display: This helps to filter harmful blue light from the screen on the hardware level and hence protects our eye health.
5. The automatic brightness adjustment: HONOR X9b supports a 4096-level brightness adjustment for a more comfortable vision.

So these are the 5-fold eye protection by HONOR for all-round care for our eyes. The device also has:

• Eye comfort mode which takes the display to the yellow side to filter blue light on the software level too.
• And an eBook mode which forces the display colour to black and white mode for a better reading experience

Conclusion:

When it comes to eye safety, HONOR devices along with X9b have a lot of features customizing which, we can use our phone in a better way without hurting our eye health much.
