So recently HONOR has launched the latest watch 5 along with the magic 7 series launch in China.
Let's look at the specs first:

The Honor Watch 5 boasts a curved square 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 450 × 390, offering clear and vibrant visuals with a 60Hz refresh rate. It features an aluminum alloy front case and a reinforced polymer fiber back case, maintaining a lightweight build of just 35g (excluding the strap). The watch is compatible with wrist sizes ranging from 150mm to 200mm and is available with composite woven, leather, and silicone strap options.
The highlight of the Honor Watch 5 is its proprietary Honor Polaris positioning system, which offers standalone GPS support, covering major positioning systems like BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. The large-area antenna design ensures accurate tracking, even in dense urban areas. The watch also features one-touch health monitoring, covering vital data such as heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress, and sleep patterns, along with advanced heart-monitoring features to identify potential health risks.
It comes with a 480mAh silicon-carbon anode battery, offering various battery life modes. In eSIM mode, with dual-terminal functionality, it can last up to 10 days. When used in Bluetooth mode, the battery life extends to 15 days, while independent eSIM mode allows for 3 days of usage.The watch supports eSIM connectivity, enabling calls, dual-phone notifications, and seamless LTE connections. It also features Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The Watch 5 offers 97 sports modes, including 12 professional modes and 85 custom ones. It also features an AI fat reduction assistant to support users with weight management by adjusting diet plans and tracking calorie deficits. Users can choose from over 5000 watch faces, including interactive themes like game-based aquarium faces that unlock new features with every 3,000 steps.
Pricing and availability
The Honor Watch 5 is available in five color options: Morning Gold, Obsidian Black, Pine Green, Moonlight Grey, and Snow White. The Morning Gold and Obsidian Black variants are priced at 999 yuan ($140), while the Pine Green, Moonlight Gray, and Snow White versions are available for 1,199 yuan ($169).
