Honor 90 call recording

I am really disappointed with Honor.
Honor 90 had everything I needed in the software experience except call recording.
When they pushed the call recording update, I thought everything is complete now.
But in the update they included that silly notification of call recording and they didn't give an option to disable the call recording as well. It is set to record all calls automatically.
Now who will be comfortable to talk when they know that "call is being recorded"
I was so impressed initially with honor that I purchased many honor devices to nurture a honor ecosystem: Honor pad 9, honor watch, honor earbuds.
This silly call recording update has ruined everything for me..
As far as I am aware, recording calls when you are not in the conversation amounts to spying and is illegal. When you are recording your own call, how can that be deemed as illegal?
And I wanted to exchange my honor 90 for honor 200 or 200 pro. That is also not possible as there is no exchange option for this phone on amazon or on official honor site and I am unfortunately stuck with this device
