Navratri is a vibrant festival that runs nine nights and celebrates the victory of good over evil. Each day is dedicated to one of the nine forms of Goddess Durga, which represent strength, power, and protection. Fasting, prayer, and energetic dance forms such as Garba and Dandiya are common, especially in Gujarat. The celebration ends on Dussehra, which celebrates Lord Rama's victory over the demon king Ravana.
Navratri is a festival of devotion and celebration in which communities gather together to honor the divine feminine energy and celebrate rich cultural traditions.
