While travelling in local areas of those countries may be fun, communication to get things done if you don't know the local language causes a hindrance. You'd wish you took an extra language at school when you were younger or even learned a language Duolingo. But if you didn't, I'm here to rescue you!
Introducing, Face to Face Translation! HONOR AI's one stop solution for all your multi lingual conversations abroad!
Yes explorers, this feature recently arrived on the 200 series through a recent update. And if you're a person travelling looking for your personal translator, your HONOR handset is the best out there! Lets check out how it works!
1. Open the settings AppSteps to access Face to Face translation.
2. Scroll down and tap on Assistant
3. Tap on Face to face Translation
4. Tap Add to add a shortcut on your homescreen to activate this feature.
Moreover, the Face to Face translation feature also let's you customise the voice and font size of the conversation as mentioned below:
Here's how you can use Face to Face Translation
1. Open the Face to Face Translation shortcut from your homescreen.
2. Select the preferred language for the sender and receiver. (For now, HONOR supports live translation for 10 languages)
3. On the top right of the menu, tap on the layout button and tap on Face to Face for face to face Translation.
4. The sender (can be anyone in this case I started with English first) can start by tapping on the microphone icon and speak.
5. Once done speaking, the live translation happens and a voice playback also takes place happening on the receiver side of the screen.
6. The receiver then clicks on the microphone and continues the conversation and vice-versa.
