Ganesh Chaturthi a Hindu festival birthday of Hindu deity Ganesha. The festival is marked with the installation of Ganesha's clay murtis (devotional representations of a deity) privately in homes and publicly on elaborate pandals (temporary stages). Observances include chanting of Vedic hymns and Hindu texts, such as prayers and vrata. This festival marks the birth anniversary of Lord Ganpati. Devotees bring the idol of Ganesh Ji at home and keep the idol for 1 and half day, 3days, 5days, 7days, 9 days and 11 days. After worshiping Ganesh Ji for so many days, finally they perform visarjan on the day of Anant Chaturdashi.
