The AI Paradox: Advanced Features but Limited Expression

In recent years, smartphones have evolved significantly, with AI becoming a central feature in many flagship devices. The recently launched HONOR 200 series offer artificial intelligence-powered features such as Magic Portal feature that will enhance user’s interaction with the smartphone by understanding messages and guiding them to relevant apps. Also other brands for example, the OPPO Reno 12 series, is branded as an 'AI Phone' with features like AI Eraser, AI Summary, AI Writer, AI Best Face, AI Smart Image Matting. Similarly, some other brands also heavily marketed for their phone's AI capabilities. These advancements promise to enhance user experience by simplifying tasks, improving photography, and boosting productivity.
However, there’s a growing paradox that many users, including myself, have noticed. Despite the increasing integration of AI in our devices, several social media platforms and online communities, restrict the posting of content created or assisted by AI tools. Even platforms like X (previously Twitter) have policies that limit AI generated content.
This raises an important question: What is the point of having these advanced AI features if we can’t share the content they help us create? These restrictions seem counterproductive, especially when AI is being promoted as a tool to enhance creativity and productivity.
