Honor 200 Pro: Lets explore its Display, Design and Build.

Today I will be talking about the display, design and build of the Honor 200 Pro in depth. Ill not only introduce the Honor 200 Pro in these aspects but also express my thoughts on the same.

Display
The Honor 200 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch Quad Curved screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution (2770*1224) (437 ppi) display. That's not all, the display here is much more than just its size and refresh rate. 4000nits of peak HDR brightness, Delta E ~ 0.27 colour accuracy, Hyper-dynamic Color Display Technology, and Full chain HDR VIVID. There's also a Full-Definition Video Quality Enhancement mode, up to 1.07 Billion colour support, and a Wide DCI-P3 colour gamut. A great to-have feature is the Wet Touch Enhancement, which still allows you to operate the screen with wet fingers. Also available is Full-Screen Always On Display. The Honor 200 Pro ensures you watch content at its best through Netflix and Amazon HDR certifications! The bezels are very thin here and taking place at the top is the pill shaped punch hole consisting of the selfie camera and depth sensor.
While the display of the Honor 200 Pro is powerful, bright and colourful, Honor has been one of the only brands to make sure that their displays are safe for the eyes as well. Through features like AI Circadian Night Display and Hardware Level Low Blue Light, be assured that your eyes will be safe while the screen intelligently recognizes usage patterns and promotes melatonin secretion for a good night's sleep. Secondly, through a 3840Hz PWM dimming display with flicker-free certification and a Dynamic Dimming Display feature, your eyes will not only be protected but also safe from fatigue and exhaustion.
In my opinion, the Honor 200 Pro comes with a display that not only provides but also protects. Moving on to this phone from my previous handset has made a huge difference. I've now started liking curved displays due to their limitless display experience. Be it outdoors or indoors the brightness levels have been sufficient. Moreover, the colour accuracy and HDR-supported vision work wonders as it enhances the overall content viewing experience. The 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution are a step up from the previous displays I'm used to. Most importantly, the display here is much safer to use and I don't face much eye fatigue or stress while using it at night. I've been able to sleep better at the same time definitely because of the attention to detail Honor provides for display and eye protection.
Design and Build
In a world where many smartphones look like clones of each other, the Honor 200 Pro is in a league of its own. Let's talk about the back first. The back is elegant in design as Honor claims it to be inspired by nature. The distinction here is the Natural coastline design that's inspired by ocean waves meeting the seashore. The Ocean Cyan colour is the perfect shade of blue reminiscing the sea waves. It's a two-finish design with a glossy finish on the camera module side while the majority part of the back is finished with a matte-like finish imitating the sea waves.
Simply grazing your fingers over the back of the phone makes you feel like you're at a seashore. Beach lovers will especially love this design! Moreover, the camera module looks unique as well. Honor has made sure that Artistry meets design by taking inspiration from the form of Gaudis "Casa Mila". The symmetrical ellipse-shaped camera module is a fashion piece in itself, with carefully placed camera sensors and a flash module. To the front, the 200 Pro's Quad Curved design is premium to look at and interact with. Its a Piece Of Art definitely when it comes to design.
When it comes to build, the Honor 200 Pro incorporates a glass sandwich design with glass on the front and back and a plastic frame. While the type of protection isn't specified as of now, Honor claims it to be on par with leading glass protection models. Talking about the device itself its built quite well considering the materials used here. While the plastic frame may seem like a trade off, I'm low key glad I wont end up having dents on it unless my previous device with a metal frame.
The top side comes with a speaker, IR blaster and secondary noise cancellation mic.
The right side comes with the power button and volume rocker. While the left side is all plain
The bottom side comes with a speaker grille, USB type C port, primary microphone and SIM tray
The Honor 200 Pro in my opinion is a culmination of elegance, style, sophistication and distinction. From seeing it at a distance to holding it in my hand and utilizing it, the Honor 200 Pro looks insanely beautiful. The back of the phone feels satisfying to hold, feeling like hands grazing sand on a scenic beach. The Ocean Cyan colour is a fantastic tribute to the beautiful oceans crashing the seashore. Being a beach person, I love this colour.Concluding thoughts
The quad-curved display leaves you wanting more, the more you look at it. From brightness to smoothness to usability, the Honor 200 Pro display is one of a kind. It feels boundless, borderless and more immersive as you use it. The in-hand feel is sleek with a slim and light form factor. What i like here is there arent any flat surfaces or hard cut corners that hinder the in hand feel.
All in all, the Honor 200 Pro is a device where style meets substance through a classy design, a light form factor and an immersive display. I only wish that better materials were used for the frame and more tactile buttons were in use.
