thread based on bi-weekly theme "portrait photography" .

 Mobile photography has come a long way, and smartphones now offer impressive capabilities for capturing stunning portraits.
Whether you’re using an iPhone or an Android device,
here are some tips to enhance
your smartphone portrait photography:

 Portrait Mode:

Most smartphones have a portrait mode that creates a shallow depth of field effect, blurring the background and making the subject stand out. Experiment with exposure settings and lighting in portrait mode. 

  Composition Matters:

Spend a moment to scan the scene before capturing the shot. Reposition yourself or your phone to improve composition. Sometimes a small adjustment can turn an okay shot into a great one.


   

Multiple Shots:

Take multiple photos of the same scene. Use burst mode to capture a series of shots quickly. Often, the most natural and appealing portrait occurs when the subject is unaware of being photographed.

 Lighting:

Good lighting is crucial for any portrait. Natural light works best, so shoot during the golden hour (early morning or late afternoon). Avoid harsh midday sunlight.
