Hola Explorers !
Did You Know?
Email is Older than the World Wide Web

Email, an integral part of modern communication predates the World Wide Web by two decades. Invented in 1971 by Ray Tomlinson a computer engineer email transformed the way people communicated electronically. Before email, sending messages between computers was cumbersome and often restricted to users of the same system. Tomlinson's creation of email allowed messages to be sent between different computers over ARPANET the precursor to the internet.
Tomlinson's innovative use of the "@" symbol to separate the user's name from the computer's name revolutionized digital communication. This simple yet effective, addressing scheme is still in use today highlighting the longevity and adaptability of Tomlinson's invention.
In contrast, the World Wide Web, developed by British scientist Tim Berners Lee, didn't come into existence until 1991. Berners-Lee's creation was designed to be a system of interlinked hypertext documents accessed via the internet.

While Email was initially used primarily by scientists and researchers, the advent of the World Wide Web democratized access to digital communication tools including email. The web's graphical interface and hyperlinking capability made it easier for everyday users to adopt and use email services.
Looking forward to seeing you soon in another threadAs we continue to develop and integrate new technologies, what do you think the future holds for digital communication?
Until Then,
Merci Au Revoir
