Hello All,

Nokia has been chosen by Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) to help build its 4G and 5G networks in India. This partnership, which will last for three years, means Nokia will improve and expand VIL’s current 4G network, something Nokia has already been working on.

As part of this deal, Nokia will use its 5G technology, including special tools that save energy and improve network performance. Nokia will also help make the network smarter and easier to manage.

In some areas like Chennai and Andhra Pradesh, Nokia will replace another company and cover places that make over half of VIL’s money.
Earlier, VIL shared that it’s working on a bigger $3.6 billion deal with Nokia, Ericsson, and Samsung to get more network equipment. This is part of VIL’s larger $6.6 billion plan to expand 4G and start 5G in important areas over the next three years.

VIL’s CEO, Akshaya Moondra, said they want to give their customers the best 4G and 5G experience. Nokia has been a long-time partner, and this deal will help bring fast, reliable 5G to both people and businesses. This will also allow new innovations and improvements in different industries.
