Bekal Fort, located in Kasaragod, Kerala, is a massive 17th-century fort renowned for its stunning coastal views and rich history.
Built by Shivappa Nayaka of the Keladi dynasty, it later came under the control of Tipu Sultan and the British.
The fort, with its unique keyhole shape, offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea, beautiful beaches and lush greenery.
It's well-preserved walls, bastions and observation towers make it a popular tourist destination, blending history with natural beauty.
Bekal Fort has also been a backdrop for several Indian films, adding to its cultural significance.
