HONOR Magic V3: The World’s Thinnest Inward-Foldable Smartphone
One of the event's highlights is the HONOR Magic V3, which will be the thinnest inward-foldable smartphone globally. Weighing in at 226g and a folded thickness of 9.2mm, this device is truly a marvelous achievement for foldable tech. It shall be powered by a third-generation silicon-carbon battery, which sports up to 10% silicon for compactness without losing its performance features.
Moreover, the material used on the back cover has an intensity of 5800MPa super fiber that is way stronger and lighter than Kevlar and carbon fiber. The device further features a second-generation Super Steel hinge with a thinness of as low as 2.84 mm and an intensity of 2100MPa. This hinge design provides extra space for structural enhancements that significantly improve the phone's stability and durability.
Along with that, it features the industry's thinnest titanium vapor chamber—measuring 0.22 mm thick. The chamber increases heat dissipation area by 22%, reduces weight by 40%, building performance 53% over its predecessor.
Guinness World Record Challenge: Showcasing the Magic V3’s Lightweight Design
In this exciting collaboration, HONOR teams up with Bryan Berg, holder of the Guinness World Record, to create the highest house of cards without glue within just 8 hours. Lightweight Magic V3 will be standing on top to show off its very light weight. This event will be broadcast live on August 22 at 15:00 CEST (6:30 PM IST) on HONOR Global's YouTube and X channels.
