Hey Explorers!
The First Film Ever Made Was (Technically) Only 2 Seconds Long.DID YOU KNOW?

More Information:
- The first film ever made is super short! It's only 2.11 seconds long.
- It's called Roundhay Garden Scene and was filmed in 1888 by Louis Le Prince.
- The film shows Le Prince's family walking in a garden.
- Sadly, Le Prince mysteriously vanished shortly after filming the Roundhay Garden Scene, leaving questions about his work and future inventions unanswered.
- Le Prince is believed to have filmed other scenes before his disappearance, but these films, if they existed, have never been found.
- While the Roundhay Garden Scene is the oldest surviving film, another contender exists: The Horse in Motion (1878) by Eadweard Muybridge
- But this wasn't a true film, but a series of photographs capturing a horse's movement at different stages.
- While not a true movie, The Horse in Motion helped pave the way for filming movement.
