The project began in Los Angeles with a groundbreaking technology called The Boring Machine, which digs through the earth to create tunnels. These tunnels are not only weatherproof and invisible from above, but they’re also designed to be expandable and extremely safe. They’re strategically placed deep underground to steer clear of existing utilities and to ensure that any noise and vibrations are barely noticeable on the surface.Loop is an all-electric, zero-emissions, high-speed underground public transportation system in which passengers are transported to their destination with no intermediate stops.
