Hi

Android 14

The Android 14 makes your device more personal, protected and accessible with the newest OS upgrade. Improved photo quality, new themes and AI generated wallpapers, and more. Privacy updates for your health, safety and data. And expanded accessibility features.
Features of Android 14
1. Ultra HDR

An image is rendered on a device with an HDR display, the gain map is applied to the base image, creating an HDR image with crisper, more vibrant colors and greater contrast. The Ultra HDR Mode makes the visuals more clear and vibrant on your device. Works on HDR supported screens. Ultra HDR takes and displays high-definition photos without altering the original quality of the image.
2. Monochrome Theme

If you prefer a less colorful phone aesthetic that is easy on the eyes, Android 14 includes a monochrome theme. The new Monochrome Theme will make your entire device experience look and feel sleek and beautiful. Material You Designs are so colorful, but the Monochrome Theme has a seperate fanbase.
3. Lock Screen Customisation

Get creative and customise your Lockscreen with Clock Formats, Colors, and Lockscreen Shortcuts. Android now has a bunch of lock screen clocks each with its own smooth animation to enhance the look of your home screen. You can change the way your clock looks on the lock screen.
4. Generative AI Wallpapers

Generally, we would apply wallpapers from the wallpaper section, or gallery or from downloads. But this is different, as you can generate wallpapers by commanding to the AI, and can use it as unique style. You can choose from pre-set suggestions to create never-before-seen wallpapers in just a few taps.
5. Phone as Webcam

The webcam quality of most laptops is ridiculously low at 720p. Why fear, when your Android phone is near? You can use it as Webcam too upto 1080p, so that you could stream your video in the Meet with more quality.
6. Data Sharing Updates

With new data sharing updates on Android 14, when you’re asked to grant apps permission to information like your location you’ll be notified when an app is sharing location data with third parties and can make a more informed decision on whether or not to grant access, select whether to access all photos and videos, or photos only, etc..
7. Enhanced PIN Security

The Android 14 has now enhanced the PIN Security by introducing 6 Digit PIN Security Code. Many lock methods are available, but the 6 Digit PIN Security is recommended, with Auto Confirm Code makes you to unlock the device with no friction.
8. Health Connect

You can now access and manage your health data by connecting the health related apps to the Google Health Connect. So that you won't need to rush to every apps, and can manage in a single app. Health Connect is now built into your Android 14 settings as a central way to store all your data in one place and stay in control of your privacy.
9. Google Home Control Updates

You can now access the Google Home Devices or other devices connected with Google Home through single tap from Lockscreen or Quick Settings.
10. Improved Magnification

You can now adjust the magnifier size, zoom, diagonal scroll and view the zoom in PiP format or Full Screen.
11. Nonlinear Font Scaling

You can adjust the font size through Quick Settings, and can see the preview of the font on the screen. So that you don't need to rush to many settings and resize the font size. This would be so easy.
12. Hearing Aids Improvements

There are more intuitive ways to connect and interact with your hearing aid. Android 14 no longer combines hearing aids with other Bluetooth devices, instead offering them a dedicated page. Users can now finely tune which sounds go to their hearing aids and which come through the device's speakers.
13. Flash Notifications

Get visual lights flashes from your device. Enabling the Notification Flashes feature is extremely useful for people who usually check their phones in a noisy environment where they can’t hear a notification, or for differently abled people with improper hearing.
14. Android 14 Easter Egg
Google always puts an Easter egg into Android and it’s always accessible the same exact way. The Android 14 Easter egg centers on space, inspired from Star Trek.
