Hey, HonorTech fans. How are you?
Hoping that you guys are doing well

Welcome back again to this Saturday health facts where I will be sharing some interesting health facts and suggestions from where you can improve your lifestyle as well as be aware of your health from time to time.
Did you know?

Protein - The Building Block of Your Body
Protein is an integral part of your healthy diet. It helps rebuild tissues in muscles, supports the immune system, and even keeps hair, skin, and nails looking healthy. Every cell in your body needs protein to function properly.

Proteins contain amino acids which are considered to be the small building blocks. While most of them are produced within the human body, others known as essential amino acids must be obtained through food. This is why there is such an importance placed on consuming enough protein.

The good protein sources include eggs, chicken, fish, milk, cheese products, and plant-based products such as beans, lentils, tofu, and nuts. If you like seafood, the healthiest choice would be salmon, as it also carries healthy omega-3 fats.

The amount of protein one requires should always be according to age, activity levels, and health goals. Generally, for adults, the average requirement is about 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. If you are active, then you require a little more than this amount to facilitate muscle recovery after intense exercise.

Adding protein to your diet isn't difficult, though. Start your day with eggs or a smoothie with yogurt. Add beans to your salad or have a handful of nuts as a snack. Remember that protein is not only for athletes or bodybuilders but for everyone. You give your body the tools it needs to be strong and healthy by consuming enough protein each day.

That’s all for today, I hope you enjoyed it. Which exercises do you perform the most to stay in shape and fit? Please share it with me in the comments below.
